Great giggles...

Excellent photography!  Darling, effervescent child.  Parents not bad either.  Love the transitions!  TERRIFIC music/Jack Johnson, one of my more recent favorites.  This was a LOT of work, Krista.  And very inspiring.  So, darling young friend of mine, did you use a Flip recorder or something more sophisticated?  HOW did you do this/any particular programs to recommend?  Tips for others who would like to take on a project like this?  How many hours would you say you invested from beginning to end/photos out of the equation?  I absolutely love it!  Have watched several times/love the Laugh Out Loud component.  Thank you so much for sharing your creativity with the rest of us.  xo L

Thanks Lois! Yes, this is a NEW hobby that I've been having fun with! Of course I take thousands of photos of Molly and tons of FLIP videos so wanted to marry the two. When I recently discovered iMovie (that has of course been on my computer for years) I fell in love! I'd like to say that I did it all but iMovie is a fantastic program that let's YOU be the director. Yes, the subject matter helps and the countless hours of photo-taking and filming are essential but once you have all that together I suppose it took about 4-5 hours to splice, dice, transition and add some favorite songs that capture the mood & motion. It's not perfect, but that's the point! It's homemade and will be fun to view for years to come!

forgot to add ... the one thing that does frustrate me as a photographer is the resolution. Once it gets published to YouTube.com, the resolution is so low that it's pixelated and all my high res photos are fuzzy. Does anyone know how to preserve this when doing an iMovie then publishing to youtube? Wydea, perhaps?
